Vivo V15 Pro Gets a Price Cut: Should You Buy it Now? When Vivo launched the V15 Pro in India, it was the only phone under Rs 30,000 to offer a pop-up selfie camera and in-display fingerprint scanner. However, a lot has changed in the Indian smartphone industry after the Vivo V15 Pro launch. We now have pop-up selfie camera phones under Rs 15,000 and they also ship with in-display fingerprint scanners. For example, the Realme X and the Oppo K3 are priced at Rs 16,990, and they offer in-display fingerprint scanner, AMOLED screen, pop-up selfie camera and big batteries too. Considering these phones, the Vivo V15 Pro seems to be an overpriced one, however, the fact that it’s available in the offline market for masses is worth considering. The Realme X and Oppo K3 are online-only phones, for now. Initially, Vivo launched the 6GB+128GB variant of the V15 Pro at Rs 28,990, but later on, the Chinese company brought the 8GB+128GB variant of the phone in Ruby Red colour option. As mentioned, the V15 Pro’s 6GB variant costs Rs 23,990 and the 8GB variant is priced at Rs 26,990 after the price cut. Vivo V15 Pro: Specifications and Features The Vivo V15 Pro sports impressive specs for an upper mid-range smartphone and it takes on the Samsung Galaxy A70 with its spec-sheet. The handset has a 6.39-inch FullView display with Full HD+ resolution and a pop-up selfie camera. Underneath, it’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset which we have seen on the likes of Redmi Note 7 Pro, Galaxy M40 and the Galaxy A70. The phone has a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor which effectively is a 12MP sensor, but uses pixel binning technology to get 48MP shots. The device also rocks a 8MP wide-angle shooter and a 5MP depth sensor, alongside having a 32MP front-facing camera. The V15 Pro is backed by a 3700mAh battery and comes with fast charging support. The Vivo V15 Pro is available for purchase across both online and offline stores.
